Flag football also started at weaker level, but new quarterback Sam Boochever had the offense running smoothly by the end of the season. Due to losing very few seniors at the end of this year, the team should be pretty good next year as well.
Lastly, volleyball has been our most successful sport thus far. Led by senior David Post, an incredible club volleyball player, and sophomore varsity diver Pat DeMarle, our team made it all the way to the quarter finals before losing in three sets to Delta Chi, 16-14 in the final set. It was a heated season, with over 20 brothers in attendance at the game. We all had a great time watching our brothers play and cheering them on. We're hoping to make it even further next year and win the championship.Secretary - Eric Lin

Enjoy the Winter Break everyone, see you all for Rush Week!
Once again, a big thanks to Zaranka for putting all of this together.
Thanks to the dedication from philanthropy chair Zachary Zaranka, a group of 17 brothers, comprised of sophomores, juniors, and seniors, participated in this years "Into the Streets." This program is designed to get Cornell organizations, including Fraternities, theater groups, a cappella groups, and others to give back to the Ithaca community.Alpha Sig was tasked with cleaning up an old cider mill which is now a museum. This building is a major tourism site in Ithaca and the brothers of Rockledge were proud to help out. Thanks again to all who showed up and spent a day working for a good cause.

The brothers of Rockledge are pleased to have initiated 20 new brothers this semester, including 17 freshmen and 3 sophomores. We know that these young men will be the cornerstone for the continued success of the house. We'd like to especially thank new member educator Edward Narea for all of his hard work as well as to Rush Chair Robert Ulrich, for putting together a spectacular pledge class. Everybody had a blast, and here's looking to the future of Rockledge! On Saturday February 24, a group of Alpha Sigma Phi-Rockledge brothers and pledges took part in a day of service. Twelve brothers and pledges were able to help a local non-profit organization, Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services (INHS) in the renovation project of a house in

Our specific day of service included the finishing touches of the demolition and gutting of an old run-down house off of route 89. Rockledge brothers completed a variety of tasks including ripping down dry wall and insulation, pulling up floor tiles, shoveling snow paths outside, removing a wood stove, throwing away old building materials, and general clean up. The house when completely renovated, will eventually house a single family with kids. The day of service was an overall great experience where pledges and brothers could have fun, hang out, and feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. In the future, Rockledge will stay in contact with On Site Volunteers and hopefully this will allow brothers to continue to help the
